CORRECTIONS SURVEY
AFSCME requests your participation in a new National Institute of Corrections (NIC) survey
about best practices to lessen stress and trauma for corrections workers.
NIC research has been helpful to fight for best practices during bargaining.
Now we can directly add our voices to support their research!
- Survey questions focus on your experience responding to trauma, critical incidents, and corrections stress. Research funded by the National Institute of Corrections, NIC.
- For Corrections Officers, community corrections workers, probation and parole officers, case managers, educators, healthcare professionals, chaplains, and any title with exposure to incarcerated people in a corrections environment.
- Takes about 20 minutes.
- Explores employer resources to deal with trauma and stress (if any).
- Optional questions on demographics and more.
Please promote widely with all AFSCME members in Corrections.
